WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PORTION OF THE EVENT

Two national speakers who focus on inspired leadership will address attendees; Adam Baca and Ethan Fisher. Ask any college coach what the first question the want to know about a prospective athlete is and it's not their athletic STATS or even their GPA. If a coach is asking about you, they already know that information. They want to know your character. These speakers will address just that; character development, inspired leadership and serving your community in a way that resonates because the goal isn't checking the box to impress a coach.

Adam’s goal is to unearth what makes each athlete tick, what makes them feel unique, driven and passionate and how to translate that into actionable goals and how to arm students with the ability to reach those goals. Nutrition and strength and conditioning for athletes will be covered as valuable tactics to help develop lifelong-skills of discipline and well-being necessary to achieve goals. Learn more about Adam at http://daywithouthate.org/presenters.html and http://elevatedhealthandfitness.com/index/.

Ethan’s goal is help athletes address issues of social pressures and performance anxiety and other prevailing issues that can often lead to unhealthy choices to chope, like drug and alcohol uses, and how to how team members accountable to make sure healthy choices are made. Ethan’s own story as an athlete and coach has a powerful resonating impact on students. Learn more about Ethan at http://www.lifecon.org/ethan-fisher.html.
